Elijah's supernatural children would be teens when he finds them in season 3 of The Originals, Xavier at 17 and Zues freshly at 17. And his teens would also have many interactions with the supernatural community and many impacts consequently. The two don't trust each other, much like Light and L. And their relationship would be similar, including the heavy tweaks I have placed, rather shoved in the book.
          
          There is much more to these characters than mentioned, such as backstories and what place they take in the vampire diaries universe.
          
          And then I realized, it's fan fiction. I can do whatever I please. The reason most of us had started writing. And my character inspiration wasn't illegal. And there were no checkmarks that had to be met. I wouldn't have finished this story If I hadn't went with my original plan (being the character inspiration, that is the leading point to the plot.)
          
          If you were here for the romance, you would still enjoy it. There would be more emotional connection, hence drama, ergo enhance the love story. And the situation I attempted to craft, but not yet richly developed would be significant.
          
          My main characters would be Elijah Mikaelson, Xavier King, Zues Mikaelson, and Anastasia Mikaelson. The characters I would use often are Marcel Gerard, Camille O' Connel, Josh and Davina. Kol will also be included as I like the unfinished drama going between Elijah and his younger brother and other ideas that follow.
          
          The Mikaelson family will be sprinkled frequently. And Vincent Griffen would also be used and many other characters that I believe would be impacted by the arrival of Elijah's children.

And his younger brother Jezus Mikaelson would be found soon after. I've added mystery to this, and I'm excited. Jezus would be smiliar to that of Mikami and L, The personality would be different as Zeus is charming.  Jezus' name was also significant because of it's facetiousness. The fact Elijah would never choose that name. A stamp of their loss of time. Also to the wannabe- god Xavier. Although, he is called Zeus by many. Another detail I added because of how Ironically impossible his name would be as Elijah is of Norse/ English decent and establishment, not greek. A terrible mix up. Again, I'm not spoiling anything as this is only the surface of their characters.

'll add a note where, I was uncomfortable having character inspiration to create a foundation for Elijah's children. Elijah would be finding them, and when he does, he'd realize they are messed up in the head just like everyone is.
          
          Xavier King, would be a god-complexed character. And his last name initself, vexing to those who want power. Literally, all the supernaturals of New Orleans. Already an Infamous character, at that, rivaling those around him. Expect a character that believes not in a game of kings, but that of gods. The requirement of being ahead. A god doesn't need others to believe in them to sustain power. It is so. Xavier would be rushing against the clock to get his way. He'd be a warped Light(de death note). And more revelations too, as the plot of my book isn't about a death note, Xavier would have his own set of skills and background ( Not spoiling ) other than his manipulative, god complex and corresponding brilliance.

I won't spoil my novel, but I found if his children were dangerously smart, and crippled as the Mikaelsons are, it would be advantageous to the plot. Elijah wouldn't have regular children. They would be involved in the New Orleans supernatural community. This fact would make parenting hard on anybody. And so, The Original's Sire would bring heavy interactions with Elijah and his family. Having a family of his own that he doesn't know, a contrast to that of a thousand years, and would go deeper into the Mikaelson drama. I'd be working on their relationships because that's what truly matters. So, a ton of dialouge, Like it should be. So longer chapters. If you have watched or read death note, you might understand these characters a bit more. I got a ton of inspiration from that. I'm not an anime fan, so don't expect something crazy on par, I hope you guys got the idea of my characters and what I'm trying to make. I've definitely made adjustments, and these are my original characters beside those of the vampire diaries universe.

And so far, the first chapters have roughly set up Anastasia's personality, without much background information. It had turned into Elijah's confused love for her, which of-course is a facet in my book. And I thought it was interesting if Elijah had eaten up his own words for once. In TVD he mentions to Elena his experience with the casualties of englamoured wishes. He had also expressed to Vincent he needed witches and those of great intellect in the 20th episode: 2nd season of The Originals. Now, these children of his would be Mikaelsons by blood. That should say a lot. They need to be a show on their own.

Dec/24/23 - Whether this is bad news or good news, If you've been here for a while : I'll  be honest, and explain my reasons for not having updating in a while. I've got their characters all together and was hoping to write about Elijah as a new father when he hadn't gotten to raise his children. And him figuring it out because the strained dialogue between him and Marcel was adorable. Absolutely a facetious objective, regarding the uncertainties of their relationship.

          Now that Elijah found his wife Anastasia through his conflicted feelings for Hayley, and his first son, expect a tensed night with Elijah and Stassi, a more than complicated Strix Gala, a search for his second son, getting to know Xavier King (his first son),  Camille's transition, and the strix kidnapping. 
          So excited.
