I like twisted personality types but I don't mind other types of characters except generic tsunderes. I hate tsunderes. Not being honest with yourself is something i hate to see. I prefer characters that gaze into the abyss within their own minds.

Some authors think the best way to make a monstrous character is to make them OP asf with some form of special power. I think that's just not right. I think true monstrous character should be unhinged in various ominous and unnerving ways. Like a man that breaks his own bones because it makes him laugh but is still somehow able to function normally as if he doesn't feel pain. Another would be someone who shows up and vanishes, never says anything, no pattern to their appearances and dissapearances, no words, no clear motivation or anything.
