SOMEONE HELP how do you make fanfic covers

wattpad been real boring for so long. like. no fic had interested me here as much anymore.
          and i keep seeing either a yandere one's, and one shots. which i was never interested, since it was too short for me. 
          
          i didn't like the x readers also, as it was always the characters suddenly falling in love with the reader and like "oh my god, so beautiful!! marry me." i don't know. like. you guys just met??
          
          also, characters doing something that the actual character from the show/game/etc won't ever do or say.
          
          it's not only wattpad either. many other places i read in also have the same problem. like.
          one i keep reading in, is tumblr. most of the fics there are smut. and. like??? where is my fluff.
          
          for quotev, it's also boring there. people barely use it (i think). and the books in which fandom i'm in are all old and haven't been updated in long. i have one book i stay there for, and it's a book about diabolik lover (which is so good, the plot and all was the reason i stayed there for, and everyone was so in character and i really love it). and Ao3. i have a hard time reading through there and finding books i like there- don't get me wrong, i think it's just me- but i have a hard time using that site, as there was too much going on, and my brain can't comprehend it. (i have adhd and dyslexia). so it is hard for me to go through that site and find books i like. and all i keel seeing are also just oneshots of the fandom i'm in.
          
          i'm instead thinking of just reading actual books- even though i have no money to spend for it, but i can save up. i really want to buy those stuff everyone else had been reading. like:
          
          crime and punishment
          
          no longer human
          
          and maybe some mangas, like:
          
          jjk, demon slayer, Aot, Naoki's Monster(?) i think? the one with johan liebert in it? and the anime version of dazai, i think bungo stray dogs. and many, many more.
          

Idk if i should post a fanfic about hazbin hotel (which is reader insert- and is an isekai. Also no romance.) But idk. 
          
          I already have an idea about how i should do it, and the lore. I'm just slightly insecure about it, because it's my first and i'm not good at writing characters.
