Contrary to my position several weeks ago, I've now chosen to continue working on both, my Lost Boys - Sleepwalkers story & the FNAF ff. Simultaneously, yet in a way that will not bring me unnecessary stress. The truth is that I miss my Lost Boys story after all, & I hate nothing more than leaving things unfinished, not to mention I still have so many ideas for the storyline; it'd be a complete waste to so deliberately give up on it after three full years of creating that world.
Chapter updates may not come weekly, as there's now two stories that require my attention (plus my private life), but twice or three times a month, depending on how it's going. But they will come. I owe my stories - & their readers - that much ️

Can't believe it's been over a year since I last posted a message on here or uploaded a chapter/story... So much has happened since then; I officially met my online love interest last year, went to the States where I married him only a month later & spent an amazing & eventful 6 months before returning to Germany with him, to start our life together in a new apartment + with completely new perspectives. I've been focusing on language studies, photography & finding a new, more fulfilling work field, so much that there was neither time nor motivation to even think about a sequel to my Lost Boys story... Which hurts to admit, since this story meant a lot to me back then (& still does), not to mention the amount of people asking & looking forward to me continuing it. But life has it's very own plans at times, & all you can do is simply roll with it.

I'm still thinking, contemplating... whether I'm finally going to sit down & work on the promised sequel, or move on from it in order to start something completely new, sth original that is not a fan fiction. The passion to do either is undoubtedly there, however deep down I know that moving away from fan fiction writing in order to grow as a writer would make far more sense; now more than ever. And I'm certain many of you can relate...

Either way, I apologise for letting many of you down, especially those who've been waiting for the story to continue, & I'll be back soon with a final decision regarding this subject.

          Until then ~ ️

How hard was it to write David, an get him just right in “swan song” for example how hard was it getting the complexity of his psychotically complicated but wonderful brain?

InterstellarTombs

@AbbyHuffman1 To tell you the truth: ridiculously challenging. Writing David was perhaps one of the most difficult things I've ever done, in any story I've created. The main reason for that might be that his character has always been "unfinished"; the movie introduces him & shows you just enough of him to work with, which is hardly a handful of information about what is clearly the most complex character in the whole movie, & it leaves all the rest up to the imagination. It's like having a pile of clay that has barely any shape & you're supposed to turn it into something that agrees with whatever the original creator has had in mind for the final piece, even though you have no idea what that even is. Truly, only Joel Schumacher himself could tell me if I've succeeded in doing so, for David is his creation, & only he knows if the David in my story matches the David born in his mind. But that's also the beauty of it... Every viewer/reader gets a slightly different picture of David, which affects the way they feel about his character, & how far they think he'd go, what he'd do or say in a specific scenario, etc. Some believe he might have a weak spot & be actually vulnerable at heart, others think he knows no boundaries & would walk over thousands of dead bodies to get what he wants, & that is my favourite thing about writing characters that I hardly know anything about. It's hard & sometimes frustrating, but always rewarding.

Hi I’m really loving your book the swan song ! I was wondering if you ever make a reverse harem with the lost boys! <333

@kitcat332 Thank you so so much for the sweet feedback, it means a lot to me!! ❤️ I'm not entirely sure on the reverse harem story yet, though I'm already working on a sequel to this book with a far more complicated love story that in a way will affect all of the four boys :)

I urge everyone who's into surrealist horror movies to watch "Mad God" by Phil Tippett. It is a dystopian stop-motion horror experience with the by far grimmest, most unsettling themes & visuals you'll ever see in any movie, & no matter how much discomfort it may cause within you, you'll find yourself unable to look away. The movie took 30 years to make (so basically my entire life) & is an unapologetically gruesome yet beautiful piece of art, unique as a movie can possibly be. The story may not be for everyone, but even then you can admire the world that has been brought to life.
As someone with a weakness for surrealism & horror, I can honestly say that Mad God is the best movie ever made ❤️

Note: definitely not for people with a sensitive stomach.

Remember when Billy Wirth liked one of my self portraits? It's only been a little over a year, but damn.... Good times.

@charlizekkelly On Instagram. He's been there for about 3-4 years I think. In case you don't know which account is him, he's the one with his name as profile picture who's posting polaroids all the time =)
