...Sooo lets have a talk shall we?
First of all, I would like to apologies for the lack of content coming in the past few months. I hope everyone is doing well.
Second of all, I think it's time for me to address the elephant in the room...
"Why haven't you been releasing chapters?" You ask?
The simple answer? Because of the transfer window this summer.
The long answer? For everyone that didn't already know, I like to do a bit of research when I write my chapters. It allows me to add a bit of "Grounded Realism" and "Futuristic accuracy" to the story as a whole. This research usually pertains to the athletes (Their likes, and dislikes. and other preferences and facts), Locations, and a few other things. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, I try to pay attention to where certain players could ended in the future so I can put that information into stories somewhat accurately.
WITH THAT SAID, I did not except Neymar to leave Barcelona! And as most of you know, Neymar is an important character in both books. But not only did get hit with his transfer, Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez BOTH left Real Madrid. So now I'm -3 character (for now) on the cast of the 2nd book.
All of this addressed, I'm down to a few options in regards to my two books.
For Book 1 (The Superstar Contingency): I will go through and edit/alter any key sentences and phrases in order for it to be more up to date. Do not worry! The core plot will still be there.
For Book 2 ( The Superstar, Lucio): I will need to put this one on "Hiatus" for the time being, this one is probably going to go through some hard editing, I need to make some careful choices and will need time to decide. (This transfer window has literally made me go back to the drawing board about 4 or 5 times now)
The current status of each Book will be listed in their respective tiles. So please stay tuned.
HOWEVER, if there is enough demand I will probably keep the 2nd book as is.
