Oh, uh, Happy Late New Year?
          
          I honestly don't get why people celebrate it, but I participate in the little events my family has for it. I really should find sometime of importance in New Years but I don't, I look at it like 'One more year till the universe implodes on itself' or 'One more year until till humanity does something not nice and essential commits forced suicide for all of us'. People say I'm pessimistic, ya know?

Okay everyone! I'll get to the point and fast! I'm making a Christmas gift for my mother, and I need inspirational or uplifting phrases. I already have as many as I need, but some of them (in my opinion) are wonky.
          
          The gift is basically a cube with fabric sewn onto it and little phrases on each side for my mother to roll when she's in a bad mood, or having a bad day for anyone curious.
          
          I'd prefer for them to be as original as possible, but if it is a quote, could you mention who said it? I have some that are well known but I couldn't track down how said it...
          
          Feel free to list some Christian phrases as well, my mom is a Christian, she'd likely like those.
          
          Here are the phrases I have currently:

So I just had to factory reset my phone and when I went to check up on my stories and I couldn't find them. I had a mini heart attack when I discovered that they weren't even in draft form. Then it loaded. I was ready to cry then and there.

So,,,, I burnt my fingers,,
          
          I was doing the dishes and the alarm for the pizza in the oven goes off.
          
          The first time it is all good, I'm like "okay, keep the supreme in for 1 more minute then its good to go". I take the pepperoni out and place it on the stove, set the timer, and go "There should be enough space on the stove for that"
          
          I continue to wash the dishes until the the 1 min timer goes off, I take the pizza out, put it on the stove and it doesn't fit. I quickly troubleshoot like "space there, oven here, place, place, HOLY SH*T BAD DECISION BAD DECISION"
          
          So. I burnt my fingers. Thankfully, it wasn't the first time someone had gotten burnt so we had aloe vera in the fridge. I couldn't find gauze or medical tape, but I didn't find some lotion and antibacterial stuff I can mix together along with the aloe to soothe my hand for the next few days.
