Hi I'm David! This is my first novella for teen / YA fiction readers, although I'm hoping some of the themes will resonate with all readers.
I originally wrote WitchfinderZ as a screenplay and struggled giving it a name. My earlier attempts included: Jennet, Blood Lines, Blood Roots, The Witch's Orb, Family Legacy, Joshua's dream of the hanging tree - and the abysmal 'The Pendle Witch Project'
One title idea was 'Kids Against The Occult' as I planned my main character Joshua to set up an organisation at the end of the book called K.A.T.O.
I settled on 'WitchfinderZ' after coming close with Witchfinders Inc. - Witchfinder of course because of the Vincent Price movie 'Witchfinder General' (after which I named Emily's family - Hopkins). Then I focused on the age of my protagonists Joshua and Emily who are generation Z.

I have one other book project 'HACs' currently in the writing stage, and two other screenplays 'Must Love Pets' and 'The Golden Mile Gauntlet' that I've recently completed.  

I've also written and animated five children's books in a collection I called 'Disaster Chickens':
