Jennifer Quattrochi

I am a writer, a home school mom, an elder care aide. Married to Jim for 25 years, and the mother of three: the oldest, a student mechanic; the second, a severely autistic young man; the third, an extremely prolific teenage writer. My first two books, Barges on the River, Roaches in the Sauce and Creatures in the Forest, Strangers in the House, featured scenes from my childhood home in southern Indiana. Island Angels takes me out of my familiar environment, onto the Maine seacoast, and targets young readers (though not exclusively). Like the Belchers, I once cared for a cantankerous old woman on an island off the coast of Maine. This book's idea was conceived in 1996. Can't believe it's done!
