Finally able to return to a stable state to resume writing, and with that said, gonna kinda break the silence and speaking the should-remain-unspoken truth, ultimately it's come to my attention that some prefer the original version of Prince of Monsters over mine. The logical yet also fairly personal conclusion I've come to? While I don't say this to all, but you mf's know who you are, y'all's taste is god awful, limited to nothing more than anything with either 'x child reader' or 'x harem x abused op male reader'. Yeah fanfiction may mean anyone can write it however they want, but the fact that it's the majority of fanfiction of this site is disgusting. Nobody's concepts are original, much less well executed, no attention to in-depth character development and detail, it's all shameless self-indulgence and self-insertion, butchering of entire series and fanbases, that makes me as a fairly avid writer ill. Views and followers mean nothing to me, I write to invent, create anew, not to simply entertain mindless, chronically online and socially inept retards. You like me handiwork? Cool, I like feedback so it allows me improvement. You dislike it, cool, either constructively and civilly criticize me so I can still learn to find ways to improve, or leave.

To buzz anyone because fuck it. So, a week ago, had this fucking wild nightmare. For any nerds that play Alien: Isolation, I was doing a no death run, and rather than restarting after my first failure, I kept going...but that's when everything turned really south. After my one and only canonical death, some doors that, were never able to be opened, suddenly were accessible. Like doors in certain places I perfectly remember not being able to pass through were suddenly up. I then went exploring, but it felt off. I found that my game had, a new set of audio logs, 5 new Archive Logs were added to my explorable inventory. When I played each one, the area was suddenly getting cut off, shrinking what was accessible. The NPC's, enemy or not, started running, hiding. The Alien itself dropped from the vents, and it ran past me, past the people. All of them were trying to run, hide. This was some kind of, unbeatable QTE. Just, survive until you, don't. Every glance I made on my tracker, half of any of the 4 directions were obscured, a singular, unstable signal was closing in. Whenever it got to someone, they'd freeze, their body's vanished a frame after, but their screams echoed and exponentially increased in volume, and not just the people, the Android, the Creature...and then me. And once I was found...done. Back to it like nothing happened. I'd never know which  unescapable QTE hid in the Archive logs until it was too late. Once I was on the last mission, on the Torrens, there was no last Alien...I went up to the bridge, Verlaine was gone. I went the the MUTHUR unit, special order 707 was issued, "You Fail, I Fail". Every console glitched, obscured, the abyss of space outside the bridge glitched too...I was able to undo my suit and proceed to the airlock...the closer I got, the louder the endless cries of those taken ensued...until I ejected myself, the game ended. Every time I started those unique QTE's, I could hear spots theme...I haven't slept well, or at all since then

Well, I think a proper announcement is, fairly overdue. Essentially I've decided to pick up writing a bit again for the sake of finally deciding to take a story concept into my own hands than simply sit by the sidelines and "assist". I do thoroughly enjoy the, engagement that the new story is reaping, thanks to Unidentified562's help and shoutouts. Ultimately, any and all feedback regarding the story itself (and not when it's going to be updated) is appreciated. 
          And to properly iterate, I'm doing my best to balance Navy life with Writing/Hobby life, so when I'm not being a sad excuse for a Sailor, I'm probably shitting around with friends. So I don't want someone asking "more please" or "when's the next chapter" after this announcement, now that I've properly put this out there. 
          
          In other news, Dante's first design is nearly complete with some help, and it will be updated and released into the story soon. Shala and Martin ref-shots are updated. Overall, the story for the most part will be done completely different than before, so basically forget anything and everything you're expecting from Unidentified's version. 
          
          Aside from that, I have nothing else, aside from don't waste my fucking time unless absolutely necessary (Or do it for kicks, idk lmao)

I have returned from the depths of Boot Camp. And to, little surprise, this site has not changed one bit. Maybe the military has changed me…oh wait, nevermind. This site and idiots on it never change. Truly intriguing it is. Oh well! Now that I’m back, don’t expect anything soon, I now have A-school (Military job school). I might get back in the saddle eventually, so keep your damn jets cool, and let me do me.
