JIm Green

Hello. I'm Jim Green, a writer and artist originally from Austin Texas now living in another city in Texas.  I've been a writer and artist for a very long time and have been on a lot of sites and posted things so I thought I'd give this site a try.  I'll be posting chapters to my novels on a regular basis (probably on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays but that may change. I would love some feedback (positive please. No negative trashing of my stories like before). 

And yes I had stuff posted on here before but I was told that this site prefers things at a much slower pace to build up readership etc. I'm still learning this site so I apologize. I'm still confused about the watty tags and so on even though I've read everything there is to get attention here. I'm just a nice guy trying to get my works out there. I've been a big fan of a lot of great writers for many years and have written lots of my own stories which have been posted on other sites over the years from the Old My Space and others. 

I tend to like fantasy and action books myself like J. R. R. Tolkien and George R. R. Martin but also Robert E. Howard, Lin Carter, L. Sprague De Camp and a slew of other authors including classic writers of a lot of genre's including horror ( Edgar Allen Poe),  humor ( Mark Twain ) and even poetic works. My list of favorites in writers and movies and such is too long to list here.  I tend to be eclectic in my tastes just like movies and t.v. shows.  

I just want to share my writings and hope that people will give me a chance and read my stuff.   I have written several novels which I will slowly be posting here along with shorter works and poetry even.  

I love hearing from other writers and readers so feel free to message me.  I'm pretty open minded and love to chat with people from all over.  

I feel everyone has an interesting story to tell. I  hope you will give me a chance to tell some of mine here.
