Originally from Illinois, John Duffy graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in film production. In 2018, after ten years of work on the topic, Duffy co-authored the non-fiction book "The Watchdogs Didn't Bark: CIA, NSA, and the Crimes of the War on Terror." In 2021 Duffy researched, produced and hosted the eleven part investigative podcast series "After the Uprising: The Death of Danye Dion Jones." Having a passion for literary fiction, Duffy is a prolific writer of short stories, and in 2022 will release his first novel, "A Ballroom for Ghost Dancing." Duffy currently lives outside of Bloomington, Indiana with his wife and daughter in a house he built himself. He is also obsessed with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
