My roots are in journalism as a former reporter and editor, but now I am national manager of the Storytellers Project, part of the USA TODAY Network. We connect everyday people with journalists in 20 cities across the country to tell true, first-person stories on stage in front of crowds from 100 to 1,200 and virtually since COVID-19. I've told a couple stories myself and emceed a few shows, but most of my time is spent coaching storytellers, working with newsrooms to produce shows and project management. I am also honored to be part of the Network's Emerging Leaders program. A native Michigander, I've lived in Southern California for six years and absolutely love it!

Pitch your story on the Storytellers Project's website sometime. We would love to help lift up your voice.
