Maybe Kione (definitely spelled that wrong) was the one to send him there and he was in the middle of a very dangerous and world saving quest, but at the same time it’s exactly like the gods to send him on a weird side quest while he’s trying to save the world. It’s interesting, and I never would’ve thought of that. I think it’s a fun headcannon!
