Imagine a world without walls and chains. It seems so far away a thought.

We're chained by each-other, our mistrust and inherently our rigid expectations for everyone else. "Don't step on my feet, only I can do that." Well, if everyone is thinking that, we have a problem there.

Our walls come out of these chains. We put up walls of false faces and words to meet the standards we as a society help to make. Since the standards cannot be kept perfectly, given our flawed nature, we must pretend to be something or someone we aren't in order to fit in. And the expectations move further and further away from any sort of actually achievable reality all the time. It's hard to keep this up.

But what if... What if we all looked at the person next to us, and saw eyes looking back, a mind thinking about it... A microcosm. A being that sees you back, that is feeling and needing and thinking and bleeding just as much as you are. And what if we all remembered that their mistakes aren't any worse or lesser than our own. A lie, a thievery, a slander, a wound, it all comes of weakness. And we're all weak in some area. Why can't we just give each other a hug and smile and just... Get along?

@Ricardo_Hompus I'm doing okay, sorry for not responding! I've had a lot of stuff keeping me extremely busy and I haven't had time to do any writing, let alone check G+. How have you been?
