My name's K. Jac,
I'm a teenager that's in high school,
I like to write, but I have extreme confidence issues so please don't ridicule
Me too harshly, I'm always open to criticism,
As long as it's constructive and not hate that will make me even more self-destructive.
I won't talk much about myself,
I'll let my work do that for me.
Just let you know the basics: age, gender, sexuality.
I'm a 14-year-old girl who's got no clue who she's into
But I'm definitely not straight.
Just a warning, I swear and touch on sensitive subjects,
So I'll tell you what to expect,
And if you don't like it but you still read it,
I won't be sorry about the effects.
I suggest you redirect yourself while you can and while you're still alright,
And now I'll tell you a bit about what I write.

I write poems inspired by my depression and my life.
Sorry if it seems like I'm whining, that's just life,
Life that I hate, life that I love, life that I can't get enough of,
But I want rid of.
Issues in our world, suicide, abuse,
The US's education system, I'll put those to use
In my poems, in my stories, in my content in general.
In hopes that I can get it through the adult's thick skulls.
I'm not even close to grown,
Mature? Just barely.
I'm a teen, I'm terrible, but we're accused of that unfairly.
Pay attention to us,
Pay attention to me?
I'm not asking for much, hey! I'll even say please.
Hands clasped, down on my knees
Hoping to squeeze and seize just a little bit of sympathy
Hoping to ease the pain that's bouncing around in our brains.
I'll stand up, with bows and curtsies,
Thank you for answering my pleas,
But not yet.

I'll watch from behind the screen,
Watch from behind closed doors, remain unseen.
You won't get to see who's writing these, not yet,
Until your enlightenment comes, this teen will stay above the marionette.
