I'm the published author of The Magdeburg Trilogy (The Night Has Teeth, The Night Has Claws, The Night Is Found) from Fierce Ink Books and Random House Germany. Set against the backdrop of Paris, the series is about seventeen-year-old Connor Lewis who earns a scholarship to study abroad where he gets mixed up in a conflict that involves werewolves, mad science & teen angst. The first book won the 34th Atlantic Writing Competition (YA) and was listed as a Best Book for Kids & Teens by the Canadian Children's Book Centre.

I'm a geek girl at heart, addicted to dungeon crawlers and role-playing games. Pizza probably makes up a portion of my DNA at this point from eating so much of it. (That's how that works, right? You are what you eat?) Oh, and sometimes I fail at funny.

Here's what  Charles de Lint, award-winning author of The Newford series, said about my trilogy: "A superb series from start to finish that, like the best musical mashups, takes something old (werewolf mythology) and makes something completely fresh out of its source material."

My current Work In Progress is codenamed: #SteampunkUnicornProject. It's not about unicorns.

My books are available in print and as ebooks on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Chapters Indigo and other retailers. The paperbacks are Collectors Editions that come with a signed bookplate and extra content from me. You can also check out the series at your local library -- just ask your librarian!
