Greetings from the world of imagination.

I've been pretty fake with my profile descriptions up until now... I thought before that if I wanted to get people to like my work I had to construct this image of myself that is cool and interesting.

Turns out that's not how things work in the real world.

I grew up spending most of my time playing with imaginary friends. The one real friend I had as a kid moved away and the only other real person I played with was my brother. Whenever I wasn't around him I honestly didn't engage with reality much at all.

For a kid that's not a big deal, but it wasn't just as a kid. Coming into middle school and throughout that time until high-school I was almost completely immersed in my own imaginary world. The main problem was that I didn't make a definition between that imaginary world and the real world around me. It got me into heaps of trouble. By the time someone helped me understand the difference between fiction and reality my whole life had been based around fiction.

I've studied a lot about culture and communication, and I've come to the conclusion that although I'm physically American I'm native to the imaginary world I used to live in, and I have immigrated into the real world.

I'm still trying to understand this thing we call reality, but I've found one very valuable tool to transfer my prior knowledge into usable information in this new place.

All fiction reflects reality.

So, much of my stories are my attempts to grapple with and understand this new living environment. It's a lot to learn, but I've been finding that it's a lot better of a place than some people have been making it out to be. God did a good job when he made this place (not that he really needs my seal of approval LoL).

Still not handing out my personal info to everybody on the internet, so you can still call me Kay. Also, to those of you who already know me through instant messages I haven't been fake with you guys.

God is Love everybody.
-Kay
