My story is a typical example of how a village boy growing up in the paddy fields of a remote village in India was inspired to look for greener patures. I am a qualified doctor and have traveled extensively in several countries around the world and finally returned to my homeland, after retirement from Norway.
Most of my books are based on my personal experiences and the people who have crossed my path during my journey through several continents and times.
I have published several books in my own mother tongue, Telugu and in English. Writers who inspire me are RK Narayan, who uses simple language and yet conveys so much feeling. I also enjoy reading some of the modern writers and historical authors. My stories cover a time that most young people do not know or have forgotten. A time when there were no phones and a telegram was used sparingly to convey the bare minimum of information. A time when the printed book was the most coveted and precious thing in our home, where there was no television and entertainment was by telling stories in the moonlight. A time when there was often no electricity even.

Do read my books and give me your feedback. I look forward to hearing what you think.
