I know I've been, like, AWOL, but I'M NOT DEAD.

Y'all do deserve to know why, though-my mother's been sick, and she took a turn for the worse, so I've been minding her and doing cooking/cleaning/dog minding by myself. Doesn't leave a lot of time in the day, y'know? And now the holidays are here...hoo, boy. She's getting better, though, so hopefully soon things will be back to normal. :D

Enough about me. Good news! Free books are coming for you. I dunno about you guys, but there is nothing better than coming in from shopping/light-hanging/cold weather (okay, I have to imagine that last one) and settling down with a book and a cup of tea. Bonus if the book was free.

For those not following the blog, here's the schedule (I'll update when appropriate) and a link to my author page to GET your free book: https://www.amazon.com/Lalla-Squeglia/e/B009HBYI42/ref=dp_byline_cont_pop_ebooks_1

this message may be offensive
I know I haven't been, like...active, BUT that's not entirely my fault.

Okay, it is, but I have an excuse-I've been busy prepping 'November Hotel' for publication on August 22nd (holy shit, so soon!) and haven't had a lot of time. Nothing is forgotten, or canceled, or anything like that.

So yeah, I'm not dead, or retired, just busy. :)

So my dog was nosing around the shelf my Funko Pop figures live on, and he was poking Captain America a bit, but I guess he nudged the wall a bit too hard because Bucky (who is obviously practically touching Steve, duh), sort of fell off and smacked him in the head.

The dog is fine, but he doesn't want to touch the figures anymore. :p
