To the readers of my series, especially those who love Donna unconditionally. I want to express my gratitude for protecting her at all costs. Donna is a character I made, and even if you’re not seeing it, I want the best for her, and I will write the story she rightfully deserves with satisfaction and justice.
Eloise is another character I made, as is Donna. I wanted the whole story to have, at least, a clear visual of my characters, and I wanted to show the simplicity of Donna as the female lead and Eloise’s characteristics as a big part of the story. Not to compare the both of them. I acknowledge all the sentiments regarding favoritism, but then again, the whole story is yet to unfold. I love all my characters equally because I made them from the heart.
Writing is not easy, but I wanted the best for my characters since You Own Me. I am openly accepting criticism, and I could tell that I’ve grown so much since the first day I wrote my first story. But I’m still growing day by day as a writer. And I know I still have a lot to learn.
I am really sorry if I’ve shown unfair treatment to my characters. I didn't intend to make everything this complicated. But I am hearing you, and I am considering things. I am sorry if I invalidated your feelings or did something to make you feel that way.
All of my characters have a special place in my heart, from the main leads to the minor characters. I wrote them, and I feel for them. I laugh as they laugh. I cry as they cry.
At the end of the day, it’s still Donna and Blade’s story. “Claiming Her Innocence” characters will still get the life they truly deserve at the end.
