Yeah, that only lasted a month. It would seem that I am back here again. Creating a new account just didn't feel right, so instead I'm thinking of rebranding this one to something that I feel suits me better now. I'm going to try and start writing here again, and I have a story I posted elsewhere that I may as well bring over here too.

          	tl;dr: I'm back, because I can't make myself leave.

Warning: Long winded retrospective ramblings ahead. Big wall of text, but something I need to say. Feel free to ignore.

Wattpad looks the same as it did 3 years ago, the same as I remember, but where are those who share the memory?

It's a new year, but I'm still the same me.
But do I have to be? I've spent a while thinking about changing my profile here, my username, display name, all of it.

My current username is something I've used here since I joined the sight in 2017, and the name Dymin was one that I've been using everywhere as long as I can remember. Xbox 360 gamertag, website usernames, Discord, if it is something I used, chances are that Dymin was in the name.
The profile picture I have is a photo of something I built in Minecraft, then took a photo of with a filter on an old tablet. I set it as my photo here years ago, and never changed it. I even have a recolor of this same photo as my Discord profile picture.

The name and profile photo have been with me for years now, and I wonder if it is time to move on. Or maybe I'll keep this account up, as a time capsule for myself, and make a new one.

Either way, I don't think that "Dymin" is who I am anymore. I'll probably make a new account, try to start fresh. Take the stories I want to work on, and transport them over. Rewrite them, better than they are now.
Follow the people that are still here, and meet new people. I feel like the amount of time my account has been around is causing it to get buried by whatever algorithm Wattpad has, though that is likely superstition.

I'll still check here every now and then, but I'll probably be more active on my new account, if I make one.

tl;dr: I have too many memories with this account to delete it, but I have too many memories with this account to continue using it. Not leaving, just making a new account to switch my focus to.
This isn't a goodbye, just a see you later. Sorry for the wall of text.

Chapter 2 of Forgotten Topaz is now up, back to Warriors: New Moon. As the next chapter of New Moon is even, it will be a Copperpaw chapter. Do you guys like the changing perspectives, or do you think I should just stick with one?

LegendofDymin

And there we go, another chapter posted, from a completely different story. Forgotten Topaz Chapter 2 is almost done, and Chapter 6 of New Moon is still in the works, but as free time is in short supply and inspiration is scarce, don't expect constant, consistent updates, though I will do what I can.
On the bright side, I have completed my April challenge, with two days left to go!

LegendofDymin

For my April Fools day prank, the only victim will be myself.

If I do not post at least four chapters this month between the various stories I am working on (Including at least one for New Moon, the rest will be from currently unpublished stories), then I will post a new chapters each month equal to the month number plus the amount of chapters short of my goal I was until the end of the year. It might even be a fun challenge, at least until July comes around.
And if I miss the goal in any given month by four or more, the amount I have remaining is added to the next month so that procrastination isn’t an option.
Wish me luck, and hold me to it!
