Phantom

"phantom", I faintly heard. OH NO. I began running in hopes to hide and run away but then I heard it again but louder, "Phantom." I ran faster, he was catching up to me. "PHANTOM." I suddenly heard again to which I yelped in fear and stated looking for a place to hide. I couldn't find anywhere though. I then found a door and ran inside. I locked and baracaded it and ran to the far corner of the room. I prayed that he wouldn't find me. I then heard loud heavy footsteps running by but suddenly coming to halt positioned at the door. Then the heavy footsteps went away to which I let out a sigh of relief. But suddenly, "PHANTOM!" Kai yelled as he burst through the door, breaking it like it made of paper. I yelled in fear as Kai lunged at me.
          
          5 mins later,
          
          "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Kai yelled at me as he was draging me back to my room. "L-Listen K-Kai I-I was j-just-" "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR HEAR IT! YOU PROMISED THAT YOU WOULD UPDATE MORE BUT HERE I AM UPDATELESS! SO I'M HERE TO BRING YOU TO YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES!" Kai angerly yelled as he broke through my room door. "NOW BE A GOOD AUTHOR AND GET BACK TO WORK!" He yelled again as I was comicly launched toward my laptop.
          
          Kai then looked at the fourth wall toward the audience, "Phantom or Gingy is back, and this time he's not gonna slack off, I'll make sure of it" he said growling that last part toward me.
          
          TLDR: I'm back, sorry for being lazy, I'm going to put in more effort now. Just know that the current part I'm updating is over 15 pages long,

Okay ngl, I took my time and slacked off. BUT the prologue is finally here! =D So with that out of the way, I'll get back to rewriting and then continuing the story. (Man I should've just made the prologue in the first place huh?)

Hey guys, I’ve got a bit of news that might excite you. So I’ve been thinking for a bit and came to decide to make a prologue, you might've thought that the chapter ‘After Math’ was the prologue but in reality, it's just the first chapter of the story. But anyway I wanted to announce this to you guys. So there's that to look forward and I have only about a little more than a week till I can finally get back to writing again.

Hey guys… wow, never done this before but I guess there's a first time for everything. Anyways, you may or may not have noticed that progress for the rewriting is going slow and absent for a little while, so I guess I owe an explanation. 
          
          It's the end of the school year for me and I have SOLs this week and I'm having quite the time trying to fit everything into my schedule with all of this chaos going around.
          
          Now I wouldn't say that this book is going on hold, because that would mean that I’ve completely paused the book but I would say currently that this book is slowing down a lot until my final tests are over.
          
          Now here's something to look forward to or here's something to hope for, once everything stops slowing me down from writing, expect retribution (or correction) for the lack of progress I've made. Expect A LOT of progress because with nothing holding me down as an author who's had A LOT of time to think about ideas to write, I'm going to finally give this book the attention it rightfully deserves.
          
          But with this said as my first ever announcement I apologize for not saying this earlier, and I thank all of those who have sincerely enjoyed my book and have been waiting for this exhausting rewriting to be over.
