I will un-publish the story and the bonus content. I may need more than June 2022 to rework the story so it'll be un-viewable for now until whenever I publish the chapters.

[Update on The Mall Compartments]
I will be moving chapters such as life updates and chapters where I show my graphic designs to a new story called The Mall Compartments Bonus Content. This way, the main story won't feel clunky with those extra chapters. Also, I will be moving the chapter Record Schedule over there for sentimental reasons since I realize I could post dates of when I will publish new chapters and life updates in the announcements. The fact it took me this long to realize I could do that...
Anyways, The Mall Compartments will still be on hiatus until June of 2022. I may or may not make some edits to the current chapters I have published to be more cohesive to the story I have mapped out.
Other than that, that's all for now.

Hi everyone. There is something I have been hesitant to do for some time. I will put The Mall Compartments on a hiatus until June 10 of next year. I cannot seem to get inspiration or motivation for writing. Plus my mental health has been back on a roller coaster ride these past few weeks.
I really want to get back into writing, but I need to focus on myself and what happens outside of the screen. Hopefully, by then, I have written enough chapters to post by that deadline. Even though this story is in its first draft (or a zero draft), I still want to lay down some chapters so by the time I finish this story, I can go through it and do a complete edit for a second draft/release.
But I am also ambitious to work on other projects in the meantime, I have a few short stories I'm still working on, so maybe this hiatus will be a way for me to spread out my time between projects in my free time and my current job. Until net time, take care.

I moved the publishing date of Record #13 to June 10th. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any writing done these past weeks. I've been focusing on work and couldn't get into the writing mood, and if I do, it's for other unpublished stories than The Mall Compartments.
-------------------------------------Record #13 Preview------------------------------------ Mel finally has her key card and finds out the wi-fi name and password on the TV. Closing the door behind her, Mel, her bag, and her lanyard with her keycard in the front clear side cardholder are all set to go down. "Finally," she mumbled to herself as she strolled over to the elevator, her posture straightened up and not depleting like a couple of minutes ago. The moment she entered the elevator, the talking box brightened up to greet her. "Good morning, Miss Thach!" Mel smiled back, with no weighted eyes this time. "Good morning." "Are you heading down for breakfast?" "Yeah, are there any places in here to get some?" "Of course! We have a cafe called Bookmark. It's a great gathering spot for business, casual, and both according to our residents." "Is it the usual cafe food and drinks?" "It specializes in pancakes, but it does do the usual cafe specialties if that's what you're inquiring about." "Pancakes do sound pretty good right now," Mel said before quickly covering the slip of drool at the right corner of her lips. "Maybe! I never had a pancake before." "Hmm... it depends on the type of pancake, but I can't really describe any of them that well. Maybe one of them." The elevator dings and the doors slide open. "Oh, tell me next time! We're here at Level 1. The cafe is next to the lounge. Can't miss it." Mel smiles and grips her bag. "Thanks, buddy!" "Buddy, what a name. I like it!" Mel chuckles as she leaves the elevator. "Okay then! Bye, Buddy!" "Bye Miss Thach!" the elevator voice box now named Buddy shouts to Mel before closing the doors behind her. --- Record #13 has been pushed back to Thursday, May 27, 2021.

And with that, Nanowrimo has come to the end. I didn't reach 50,000 words, but on the plus side, I manage to finish two chapters ahead of their publishing dates, so I'm happy about that. :D
