The Literary Fiction Network features works and authors of contemporary literary writing. They typically are genre-blends, experimental, or can't be categorized within one genre. They may feature abstract metaphysical nuances, profound themes, philosophical insight, artistic drabble, and capture social commentary, universal dilemmas, humanity, or intimate sentiment.

Rather than mainly focusing on plot, characters or worldbuilding, literary style draws attention to the art of language, ambiguity, poetic moments and multilayered symbolism, which often allows open ended interpretation. Elements from any genres may still show up such as speculative, surreal, romance, slice of life, bildungsroman, crime, and so on.

We promote quality writing on Wattpad, encourage deep reading for all ages, share insight and inspire one another. We aim to:

- Showcase and empower Wattpad authors
- Compile reading lists and feature works
- Launch publications, anthologies and zines
- Organize events, activities, such as contests or collaborations
- Present author interviews, professional writing tips, chats and more
- Bridge digital community with traditional publishing industry
