Genuine question: I’m making up ship names for Facade pairings, but I’m a little stuck. Which ship name for Kaito and Len do you prefer? Lento, KaiLen, Ken, or LenKai? Because I can’t decide…

I’ve been thinking about doing a little QNA for my journal. So, if you have any questions about Facade (my original story), my plans for new stories, and more, then feel free to ask me! 

So…you know how there was a Jekyll and Hyde movie adaptation that came out last year that didn’t really get good reviews? Well…I may have just gotten the DVD for it. Would you guys be interested in a review for it in my Journal, along with another horror film with poor reviews that I actually really like?

So, I was listening to Mind Brand, the song was coming to an end, and I began thinking, ‘Man, I hope Rhinestone Eyes by Gorillaz plays next’ AND GUESS WHAT, RHINESTONE EYES LITERALLY STARTED PLAYING THE MOMENT I SAID IT!! I DON’T EVEN HAVE SPOTIFY PREMIUM WHAT THE FUCK?! Has that ever happened to you whilst listening to music?

Just finished the first night of the very first Five Nights At Freddy’s game. I honestly forgot how genuinely scary the first game is. Markiplier wasn’t kidding when he said this was one of the scariest games in years. 

As it’s the new year, I’d thought I’d let you know about a few things about my account. I will be making two new books, will be updating Facade a wee bit to make it a little more like a story, and I’ll try to update my journal more often than I did in 2021. 
          
          For my new books, one of them is a Danganronpa Jekyll and Hyde AU with Makoto and Nagito as the two main characters, and am currently in the middle of constructing a new Five Nights at Freddy’s story that is a mix of both the famous musical by Random Encounters and the music video Mangled’ by the YouTuber NateWantsToBattle. I hope I can talk about the book more in my journal! Hope you’re hyped for these new books! 

Ever have that moment where you’re writing your story that contains a prologue, and you’re procrastinating hard because you don’t know how to present it? 
          
          For example, I’m making a new Jekyll and Hyde story using characters from the Danganronpa franchise (one of my special interests right now). 
          
          The prologue imitates chapter eight of the OG RLS novel, and the victim (Toko)’s death is the inciting incident that is the source of the good and evil separation/base urges removing motivation for who I’ve picked to be the main character. (If anyone knows Danganronpa, try and guess who I chose! (Hint: He is voiced by Bryce Papenbrook, who also voiced one of the most popular characters in the franchise.))
          
          The problem is, The Last Night is the second longest chapter in the novel, and I’m afraid I’ll be copying every word from the book. Also, since this is practically my book’s prologue, it will naturally have to be long. And as you know from Facade, I normally write small introductions, and not so much inciting incidents. So, of course, my writers mind blanks.
          
          If anyone can give me advice on writing prologues about the inciting incident, than I’d be more than grateful! 

I’m watching some old DVD and VHS trailers for Disney movies, and I find two things hilarious:
          
          1. The VHS trailer for The Hunchback of Notre Dans is surprisingly lighthearted compared to the actual movie.
          2. The trailers for the bad bunch of Disney Sequels (Hunchback II, Milo’s Return and Belle’s ‘Magical’ World) are honestly better than the actual movies.
          
          Like, who in the right mind decided, ‘Let’s hype up kids for Hunchback with this feel-good trailer, and then make it actually dark as hell and terrify the kids!’, because that is honestly genius.

So, uh…MsMojo just released a Top 10 Best Barbie Movies of All Time yesterday. Dead serious. And yes, while it was obvious what number one was gonna be (I personally don’t think The Princess and the Pauper is the best Barbie movie, but more power to them I suppose.), that doesn’t change the fact THAT I DID NOT EXPECT FUCKING MSMOJO TO MAKE A TOP 10 ABOUT IT!!! WHAT THE SHIT?!

To all of my Jekyll and Hyde musical fans, it pains me to say that on October 19th, 2021, Leslie Bricusse, the lyricist behind the musical, has sadly passed away at the age of 90.
          
          Outside of Jekyll and Hyde, Bricusse was best known for writing the songs and lyrics behind the 1971 adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, as well as the mastermind behind Bond songs such as Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice. 
          
          His music and lyrics had touched my heart ever since I was 6, and hearing of his death practically shattered me. But, that won’t mean I won’t stop being inspired by all of his work through his entire life. I hope you won’t stop either, guys.
          
          Rest in peace, Leslie Bricusse. You’ll sit forever with us and the gods.
