J

The grand doors before you opened revealing a beautiful ballroom, it was almost empty except for a single figure standing in the middle of the room. They were about 5'3, short snow white hair, and a black suit nicely fitted to them. Their back was to you so you couldn't see their face. You slowly made your way towards them, the soft click of your heels seeming to catch their attention. "Ah, miss y/n. Welcome!" They spoke turning to face you, instead of being greeted by a smile and set of eyes you were greeted by a pearl colored mask with a smiley face on it, a smudge of blue paint to the left side of it. Their voice was hard to distinguish being muffled to almost a whisper yell.

They offered their hand to you dried blue paint stained their pale hand as well. "Pleasure to meet you Mx. J." You said softly, taking their hand, they held your hand firmly using their other to lift their mask just above their lips. They gently bring your hand up and place a soft kiss to your knuckles. "Care for a dance? We have the whole room to ourselves." They spoke, their voice was soft yet glitched, it held an amused undertone. You nodded your head finding a dance would be quite pleasant, and to dance with J was an honor not everyone got.

They shifted your hand gently into the correct position, as they placed their other hand on your hip. Placing your other hand on their shoulder soft music begane to play, and you both began to twirl and glide across the floor with grace. "My, my you are quite the dancer my dear." They complimented, but something was wrong with their voice; it seemed more distorted than before. "T'is a shame this will be our last.." Your eyes widened as you began to lose feeling in your body. Looking around you now could see hundreds of others hung up by thin strings. "May you dance forever more my dear." Your vision slowly faded out and the last thing you saw was J slowly letting you go.
