I have not written a word recreationally in five years, but tonight, I updated and finished Death’s Muse, a story I started in 2014 when I was a junior in high school. Today, I am a college graduate in a master’s program. I was recently laid off from my job and forced to move back to my hometown. In this abrupt change, I revisited things from my high school years in pure nostalgia. Tonight, I decided to finish Death’s Muse once and for all. My writing is rusty, but in this troubling time, I decided to accomplish what I’ve wanted to do for six years- finish a story I truly loved.

If anybody’s still here, thank you for bearing with me. I did this for myself, but if y’all still remember me, thank you so much. This has been the loneliest time of my life, and I just wanted to make this a positive experience, even if it’s finishing a weird vampire fan fic I wrote when I was still a child. I’ve thought frequently about Wattpad and my memories here since the last time I updated. I was young, extremely naive, but it was fun, and I met the most incredible people.

Anyway, I’m feeling pretty good tonight. I hope you are too. Take care of yourselves. <3

I used part of Gerard's letter from "Forgetful" as a monologue for school. People (in drama) were asking where I'd gotten such a good monologue from, and I told them wattpad. They loved it, though I didn't quite do it justice. It moved me to tears while I performed.
