FireFly

Firefly is a direct translation of my name. I choose Luciferase as a username because its an enzyme that help to generate light to help Firefly glow in the dark. 

Being in medicine is hard for anyone, let alone attending medical school for 5 years to graduate with triple degrees (degree from School of Medicine, School of Education and School of Business). During these times, I develop my defense mechanism with writing my encounters in a humors yet sacastic way to express myself. There will be collections of stories told from being a medical student or interning in marketing firms while trying to meet requirements for my MBA.

Currently, I am in residency training. Some experiences are once in a lifetime. While others are that I am happy that its over. And I prayed that it will never happen ever again! This serves as a forum to share my writings, as well as sharing my experiences. 

Hope you will be able to have a laugh and realize that there will always be others who have worse encounters and less fortunate than you. And it might be me, that more unlucky, less fortunate resident than you.
