I am never returning to Wattpad and I don't plan to write Purplephone again, unless you'd specifically like to request some, then we can work out details. Wattpad took an enormous toll on my mental health. I met some very kind people here, who I am thankful for endlessly, but I also met some people on here who were harmful for me to be around. They took internet drama too far and decided to insult the things I have been through and the people I most love as a means to an end. This is a driving force in why I decided to leave Wattpad. This person knows who they are as we had both a personal and and writing-based friendship that I severed, and for the sake of me, the people I love, and them themselves, I respectfully ask that they don't get in touch. For everyone else though, I would love to talk to you until 1/1/19, at which time I will no longer respond to direct messages.

I am writing on other platforms under a new alias.

I thank this platform for the friendships it allowed me to experience, the writing practice it gave me, and everything else it has done for me. It's just not the best place for me to be, even under a different name. I thank all my followers for their support, and thank those who have messaged and commented on my absence for their concern and desire to reconnect.

I go by a different name now but much of the Luma you knew is still here. I still have a passion for writing and I hope I am still as kind as many of you found me to be back in my prime. I have, however, grown as a person and am willing to put a lot of things behind in hopes of achieving lasting friendship with those who have felt wronged by my actions in the past. I was very passionate in my beliefs, but I was just a kid, and many of the actions I took were the wrong ones and I know that now.
