I can easily imagine what might happen next. She challenges him to combat, knowing she will loose but with honor. He cannot refuse a challenge, but as soon as he touches her he knows what she is meant to be for him... She wakes up in the infirmary shocked and confused to be alive.
There are a couple of ways that it could go from that point, even the idea that he officially surrendered, and SHE is the new Alpha. (Not likely, but it would be a big WT??? and could lead to some interesting possibilities. Just as a way to break with the expected, I thought I would include it. )
Will they tell her that she is the new Luna (why not), or keep her in the dark for a while (afraid she will reject him)?
If they tell her, will she try to run when she is strong enough? That seems in character, but while she is healing she will be getting an inside view of how he does things and who he is.
That is my short bit of guesswork about the next chapter or so. Why haven't you written them yet?
