Hello, I'm Maddie, novice creative writer, journalist and enthusiast of the great outdoors. I'm from a small town where the acres of cornfields vastly outnumber the acres used for housing, the nearest chain grocery store is at least 20 minutes away and the largest traffic jam you'll ever come across is caused by a tractor that likely driven by your neighbor Bob.

Though life is slow out in nowheresville USA, I wouldn't have it any other way. it's where I was taught to love,  taught to laugh and be brave. Who I am would not be me had it been any different.

My hobby as a writer began with a small humble beginning, my furthest recollection of enjoying literature being in the second grade.  I was captivated by the magic and wonder of the Magic Treehouse book.  love the tales of wonder and adventure, the sense of danger and mystery that could feel just by comprehending words. All books are are words. Woods made of letters, 26 to be precise. it was and is fascinating how stories creatures and even entire worlds can come from the way a single person arranges 26 characters. Thus, my love of literature has only grown and matured. So here I am today. I'm here to create my worlds.
