- She was abused by Ryokenshi from age 5 til 15, who's only her Stepfather
- Her Mum was a workaholic and was never really around, not even for her own daughter's birthday
- Developed a strong fear of large bodies of water (lakes, pools, completely full bathtubs), her Stepfather drowned her in their bathtub a lot
- Her Stepfather cancelled out the other half of her Quirk (Warp Gate)
- She ran away to her Uncle, who turned out to be her Dad, he helped train her other Quirk
- She entered UA through recommendation of Principle Nezu, landed in Class 1-A and set up a new school record during the entrance exam
- She started living with the Bakugos, after being repeatedly threatened by her Stepfather during the first three weeks of school
- Mitsuki really loves her, she calms Katsuki's hot-headed temper
- She started dating Katsuki three or four months before the USJ attack and being kidnapped by the League of Villains
