Just over a year ago I took a very deep breath and gave up my full time post as an English teacher in order to focus on the first love of my life - writing. I now work as a professional freelance writer and editor and have ghost-written a vast number of articles in diverse genres, stories and one complete book.

However, what I really want is to write the kind of stories I enjoy reading myself and to reach as wide an audience as possible. The Apple Tree is just one of these stories; a fairly traditional romance in which the protagonists must undergo a series of challenges and a good deal of pain in order to reach a sufficient degree of enlightenment about themselves in order to achieve their goals.

I would love to receive feedback and welcome constructive criticism from readers as I have no other way of knowing whether I have sufficient talent to pursue my dreams and to bring the sort of pleasure to others which good writing has always brought to me.
