Avid reader, writer and student of life.

The way I read and the way I write are very similar. I have no control over the characters or their actions. Their thoughts don't reflect my own, I'm slave to the story and can't stop until I've reached the end. 

I love dark, raw, brutal, unapologetic works that take the shadows in the world and cast light on them. 

I don't like reading books that have no romance. Most often the only redeeming quality in a soul is the love they have for another, when that element is missing, I feel a book falls short of what I'm looking for.

But my interests vary, I've enjoyed cute reads from time to time as long as the characters grip me.

Oh and EVERYTHING I read MUST have a happy ending. Because that's just how I roll.
