Deep in a forest, hidden from the world, there is a temple. This temple is old, it decays and rots away, leaving behind nothing but a shell, a husk of what it used to be.

The forest has taken over this sacred place, this ancient building. The flora grows over statues of long destroyed machines, and the fauna prances and skips around dead weaponry.

If one was to look beyond the main room of the temple, which was an impressive sight, as tall as it was wide, they would see a door, slightly ajar. Walking through the door would open out into a smaller room, a chamber if you will.

A woman's dressing table sits backed up against the wall, the mirror cracked and broken, the oak riddled with insects. The drawers have been pulled out and scattered on the floor, evidence of looters, with personal possessions strewn everywhere.

On the floor, lying down like one would expect, is a wolf. However, there is something odd about this wolf.

It's left front leg is clearly mechanical, cogs and gears in plain sight, powering pistons which are attached to the paw. The paw itself has sharp claws, the floor next to them covered in white lines. Scratch marks. The face of the creature is half mechanical, with one eye replaced with cybernetics, the jaw a metal frame housing jagged teeth, fur only covering the right of its head. The left flank of the animal is exposed, the skin stripped away to show more gears and pistons, the machinery quiet, lifeless and dust laden: an endoskeleton that while centuries old, is ahead of its time. Certain other parts of it's body are also robotic, such as one of it's ears, and sections of it's other legs. It may just be a robot with wolf fur, dull grey wolf fur, and not a real wolf at all.

As you step forward, the floor under your foot seems to sink slightly: pressure plate.

The wolf's robotic eye lights up red, and it looks up at you, emotionless and blank. There is a brief moment of a crackling sound, and then a voice.
