Heyy I'm Melissa, which means "honey bee" in Greek, hence the bee avatar. I like to watch TV, listen to music, canoe, sew, write, read, act, sing and ride my bike (sometimes simultaneously). Let's do some favorites:

Book(s) - A tie between Death Comes As The End & The Crucible

Animal(s) - Tiger. Or bunny. Or my dog :D

Food (omg animals is right above) - Any form of noodles, and a nice steak. . . OH ICE CREAM HOW COULD I FORGET

Music/Artists - I'm pretty open to different music genres and always looking for new stuff, but I like most pop (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran), punk (the Clash), classic rock (The Who), hippie music and 80s stuff

Author(s) - AGATHA CHRISTIE THO, Kate DiCamillo, Avi, Lois Lowry, Madeline L'Engle,  Arthur Miller, Mark Twain, Dr. Seuss (I know half of these are kids' authors shut up), and a variety of other authors on here! You could be one of them ;) 

My future?

My goal in life, for as long as I can remember, is to be happy in the over-arching scheme of my life. That may mean short-term unhappiness, but no one is in complete bliss, 100% of the time. When you were born you already ruined it by being hungry or sleepy. You've experienced pain at one point.

           However, I will not risk my present happiness for future happiness. That sounds contradictory, it is. But basically, if the current thing causing your unhappiness is in your control, change it to be happy now. If it's not in your control, remember your mood is always in your control. Look for positive outcomes, and think: no pain, no gain.

I have posted works on here before, however I do not plan on finishing or starting anything new. I enjoy reading others' stuff more, plus school and other time constraints :P  Thank you to those who have read, and hopefully appreciate, my current works! :D
