Melia

I have been writing on and off since I can remember, from my first fanfiction of a book series I read to fit in where the main character and his enemy have the classic "oops, I tripped over this potion bottle and somehow landed backwards on your pee-pee" as all great 11 year olds write. As time passed and my anxiety encouraged me to devour books at a speed I have never had since, I was filled with ideas on my own worlds.

As a teen, I wrote on Gaiaonline, honing my skill IRL with near instant feedback  engaging in communal stories. I published my poems on AllPoetry and my short stories on StoryWrite, winning awards from the competitions on there. 

Time passed and writing became tedious, I guess that is what school teaches you. I got involved with music, and latin classes, my days filled up with part time jobs and school activities, looking back I was gaining more experience. I started writing again to understand the motivations of a woman in my life, who was so chaotic with her love you could call her abusive today. Writing from her point of view as to why she did things unlocked my empathy to a new level.

One of my poems got published in 2018 as is now home in a book called Winters Blossom, a collection put together by one Josh Poitras.  

So here I am writing new stories on a new site, with more reality infused with magic than I have yet to read. I hope you enjoy my brain, it was inspired by Neil Gaiman's Shadow character.
