Y'all, something FUNNY just happened.
so I was watching 'Psych' with my dad and older sister when my mom came in. She started talking about Melanie Martinez and how she was buying tickets for her upcoming concert. Then she told my older sister that she'll be taking me.
My older sister started to protest and my mom got this "Oh no you don't, bitch" look and stared right at my sister and just said, very slowly, "Taylor Swift." And my dad and I just gave each other a look of "Ooh, she in trouble" and smirked. My sister looked at my mom all confused before my mom recounted the story of how her and my aunt had to be the ones to be with my older cousin at a Taylor Swift concert like, five years ago.
My mom went on this whole tangent on how she had to sit outside, in the rain, without a umbrella for that matter, listening to Taylor Swift because my sister convinced my uncle to buy the tickets for my cousin, but neither of them went. She went on about how she was a black lady in the middle of a Taylor Swift concert walking back and forth between her seat and the alcohol stand and how my sister owes her. So now I'm going to a Melanie Martinez concert with my older sister because my mom has the memory of an elephant and the excellent ability to hold a grudge like the Scorpio she is.
