Kellie Moon Lopez Afuola

My name is Kellie moon Lopez Afuola. I am a 17-year-old high school girl and love to write. When I'm older I plan on becoming a successful writer and author! I won't give up my dream because writing is my most precious and valuable hobby in life. Every morning when I wake up, I always think of how my next chapter or sentence will start out with. I write my books differently than other authors. Instead of giving specific details on a certain topic, I like to tease the readers and make them wait until the juicy parts come up. I also like to use simple words instead of fancy long words for the reader to help them understand what is going on in the story better. My chapters won't be as long as other books. It would most likely be 20 pages per chapter. It seems like a lot, but it really isn't. Most of my day I spend on writing my books. In the night I brainstorm on how the plot will be and how juicy it will get. If I plan on teasing the readers, I would write a really mean cliffhanger for them to purposely get upset. Once you think about it, I'm a basic writer. But I like basic. I don't like fancy words to just describe a detail. What's the whole part of being a writer when you can't even tease your readers?
