I've been gone for a while and I am so very sorry. My father walked out of my life nearly a year ago, causing a great deal of chaos. I am still dealing with the lasting impact on every aspect of my life, but I do plan to return to my writing for those of you who are still interested in my work. I know most of you are like... 13 so let me make something very clear. Do not say "I would just let it go" when someone is talking about trauma. I know you're younger and thats why you don't get it, but thats why I'm telling you. Even if you don't mean to, invalidating another person's trauma can hurt them very deeply.

@MyComputersDead I know and I’m sorry if someone ever did that to you. I’ve even had therapists who told me that what happened to me is not a big deal. I mean, I’m pretty sure a physically and mentally abusive is a big deal. I e had friends who had the same problem too and we get all agree. It’s very belittling to say something like, oh it’s not that big of a deal. Let it go. Or, get over it already. It’s fucking hard! Screw ppl who do t appreciate you and recognize the trauma that you have gone through. If they get mad at you for ever calling them out for doing so, it’s because your right. And they do t want to admit it.

@MyComputersDead Having trauma Sucks. It's like having a potato, but not a peeler. When someone says, "You're overreacting," or "Oh my God just suck it up." It's like saying, "gosh just peel that potato already," and handing the person another potato. They didn't decide to have potatoes. They didn't want to have potatoes. They're trying their best to peel the potato, but all they have now it two potatoes that still need peeling, but no peeler, and it's really frustrating that you can't peel the flippin potato like everyone else. All they want is for someone to give them a peeler. I hope that makes sense.
