A writer of stories not for the faint of heart!  I was a young girl, roaming the depths of a charity shop where books are both cheap and plentiful. Bored with my own life as a responsible new teenager, irritated that the boy I thought pretty did not return the favour. And then I stumbled upon it. 

At random, selecting the darkest cover on the shelf out of idle curiosity. I flipped the front cover, read the first page and turned into a sword wielding, full figured warrior queen! Hooked, and instinctively knowing parental confiscation was ever looming on the horizon, I paid the lady at the desk a pound, headed home and hid it behind the harmless teen fictions on my shelf. From the comfort of my bed, I slew my enemies, traded flirtatious quips with a beautifully described man and realised I had finally found the something that was so lacking in the books I had previously read.

Now, I hope others have a similar experience. That they fall in love with the characters I have created, cheer if they are victorious and are devastated if they fail. That my books come to life, become something people enjoy and can use to slip away from the reality of life for just a little while. I really hope that you are one of these people. That you can slip into the world I have built, despise the villains, adore the heroes or even vice versa! Because who doesn't like a villain that's so very hot for you;)
