I failed my exams by a few tenths, so I don't graduate with the rest of my class and won't get a degree at the level I studied for. And I’m fûcking devastated. 
          
          Hopefully I score four tenths higher on my resit in two weeks, that way I'll still get a degree but at one level lower than what I wanted, but at least I'll have a high school diploma then ig.
          
          After I get my diploma in September (if my resit goes okay) I’ll have to attend some sort of college/university. Since I’ll have a lower level degree than I had planned I can’t study at the university I wanted to go to, so I’ll also have to figure out what kind of course I now want to take and in which university. 
          
          Considering I’ll be busy studying and self loathing the next two weeks, then researching studies and universities/colleges, then getting settled in a university/college last minute, I wanted to give a heads up that writing will not be on my mind for a little longer than I had planned. 
          
          I planned on having some free time from all the bullshít around school and universities this summer, but with this unfortunate turn of events, to put it politely, that won’t be happening soon. Sorry for the rant abt this shit show that is currently happening in my life. Just wanted to give a little explanation on why my book will be on hiatus for longer than I thought and that I don’t know when I’ll start writing again. 
          
          If you cared enough to read this shît this far, haha loser.

‘Chapter 35  Obsessive’ of Escape to the Start is up now :)

I haven't updated Escape to the Start in almost 2 months and feel fcking miserable over it. One of my goals for 2022 was to finish the first draft of my book, but vacation, work and school have gotten in the way. I know I could always 'make time', but that's hard when I spend the majority of my day in school, and the majority of my free time on school and work. 
          
          However, Escape to the Start is NOT abandoned. I want to let anyone still reading or waiting for an update to know that I am still working on it, and will eventually finish the book. Sorry for breaking the promise in my previous message (and those before lmao), and sorry for not being able to tell when the next update's going to be. I don't want to do that since I don't want to break that promise again, but I will say that I'll post it as soon as possible with my busy schedule <3

I tried to get the next chapter done before I left for vacation, but I’m at the airport rn and I only have a beginning. I’ll finish and post the chapter after I’m back home, which will be in two and a half to three weeks. Sorry for the wait and thnx for the patience <3
