What I write:
I write trilogies featuring Serena Wilcox. Serena is a detective who solves crimes in the dystopian high-tech future. In the newest trilogy, she is a time traveler in PROJECT SCARECROW. Serena is clever, but she is also silly and flippant. She annoys Agent Estep and everyone else who has to put up with her unorthodox methods. [YA to Adult readers, PG13]

Who I am:
I was born in upstate New York, raised in Indiana, and then lived in Germany for three years. I now live near the Twin Cities (Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Minnesota). I love the Irish Fair held in Saint Paul every year. I hope to visit Ireland and trace my roots. My dad died when I was sixteen and my mother died a few years ago. Finding family in Ireland, even though distant, is my quest.

What I do:
I'm an oil painter. I was invited to contribute a DOCTOR WHO oil painting for a charity auction at the 2014 DW convention. I'm thrilled about this project! I also sing and play instruments (usually the drums). I dabble with new creative ideas, like making the "Serena Wilcox Choose Your Own Mystery" game, free to play online at my site.
