Update: still alive, still going to finish Everlasting. I've had some major life changes this summer, and another big one coming soon. While the dust settles, I'm taking some time to focus on my family.

Would you ever update Pieces Of Me?

I've hit 1k followers, and it feels different than I thought it would. I thought I'd be excited and proud, but mostly I feel humbled and grateful. Sincerely, thank you to everyone who has supported me so far.  I can't express how much it means that so many people have enjoyed my work. 

when will there be an update on everlasting.  I'm really enjoying the book.  

I am rereading enforcing boundaries, and I can’t help but express how much I love your writing style, it’s so refreshing and comforting, there are many great stories out there, via Wattpad or whatever, but sometimes those stories get lost (to me at least) because I dislike the writing style so much. Your writing is so clear and you put details on the *right* things, you don’t overly detail everything, which makes all the details (no matter how small) all that more special. The dialogue between characters sound like people actually talking instead of this weird thing that happens in lots of other writings (it’s not awful and I might do it too on accident) but it’s where the characters say phrases that people don’t normally say out loud, but you could write it as what the characters are feeling or thinking. Something like “The crisp ever glow of the cooling lake is beautiful.” Not that the sentence isn’t bad, but it’s not something I hear most people actually saying out loud, that kind of thing sounds like it’s describing a scene instead of it being a conversation starter. Anyway, (sorry for my tangent) reading your writing is a breath of fresh air and I hope you find success in your writing life, I hope to read many more stories from you. Thank you for bearing with this overly long compliment!

Update on "Pieces of Me":
          
          I don't abandon projects, and this one is no exception.  I've been taking some time off from updating "Pieces of Me" because my life got too busy for writing two things well and I needed to refocus.  I'm going to keep working on this project on the side, then release chapters in a big burst when I've got it finished.  That way, readers won't be waiting months between updates.  It means a bigger gap now, but I really do think it will be better for everyone.  Thanks so much for your patience on this.

Updates are going to be paused for a week or two.  Life blew up and I really need my limited free time to try to destress.  I just didn't want anyone feeling forgotten or like updates might not be coming, because they are.  Thanks for your patience and understanding, and take care of yourselves!
