‼️NEW BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT‼️
          	
          	Hi everyone!! It’s been awhile, now hasn’t it? Before I dive into anything I just want to say a huge thank you to those who have read my poetry collection book “sunflowers by the sea”. You have been very loyal to be despite my frequent periods of absence, and I, once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 
          	
          	Now, moving on, this second book of mine is titled “Burn Me Before the Sunrise”, with it consisting of both prose and poetry!! Prose is something which I have not really dabbled in outside of assignments needed to be done for my degree (haha uni is pain). But I believe there is a starting point to everything and this will be it!! 
          	
          	A poem and a prose has already been published, so I hope you’ll enjoy it. I also hope to continue growing as a writer. Thank you once again for staying with me. I believe this is just the beginning.

University life really is a rollercoaster ride! Unfortunately, there won’t be any new poems today (or anytime soon most probably since I’m super busy) :’)
          
          However, I will be performing a new piece of poetry of mine titled “My Body Is of Shameful Dough” TONIGHT!! The event is held by my university and it is called “Spoken Word Night”. I would love it if you could watch the livestream!! There are several other amazing poets who will be performing their poetry piece as well, so do join the livestream if you’re able to!!

Wow it has been awhile indeed!! University is keeping me extremely busy so I haven’t been able to write very much lately. However, I did publish two poems last night!! Do check them out and I hope you’ll like them despite the poems being rather sad

Hello everyone!! It’s been awhile since I last updated ‘sunflowers by the sea’ huh? I’ve been busy for university has just started about two weeks ago. I’m slowly getting the hang of it though!! (Or at least, I would like to think I am...). Things are beginning to finally settle down a little, so I got to finally write especially since inspiration struck me yesterday. And with that, I’ve just published 4 new poems. I hope you’ll like them!!

-Losing loved ones-
          
          It has been a tough year, I won’t lie. This pandemic has taken away so many people, including the ones we love.
          
          I don’t often open up about personal affairs but I myself have lost and/or nearly lost family members, friends of family as well as my own friends due to them either catching covid or due to the covid situation affecting their mental health.
          
          It honestly has been a difficult time, and I know this has been said many times by many different people, but I’ll say it as well. Please limit going outside and please wear your masks if you do go out. Even if you’re fully vaccinated, it does not mean you’re immune to catching covid. And if you’re feeling down, unhappy, depressed, or just feeling any sort of negative emotion in general, please talk to someone. Please open up. You’re not alone in this even though it may feel that way.
          
          And lastly, the latest poem I wrote, which is titled “When You Got Your Wings Too Soon”, is dedicated to the ones we have lost. May they all rest in peace and remember that you all are very much loved❤️
