Nicole Rivera

I love stories. I love to read them, listen to them, watch them, and - yes - write them. I am the organizer of a local writing group. I've been working on one of my YA novels for an embarrassingly long time (for laughs check out my the pretty close to first draft of the novel that I posted here called NOW WHAT?). In 2016, I entered Pitch Wars with a massive rewrite of that novel (now titled GIRL UNPLUGGED) and won a spot! With my mentor, and my writing group, I've been working to make this book the best it can be. I'm back on Wattpad to start sharing the results and, hopefully, some other work. 

The rest of my "about me" story includes a beautiful son, an awesomely supportive and fellow geek husband, a past life as a high school math teacher, and too many wasted days in the unforgiving clutches of a couple of diseases that dared to dance within my bones.
