Currently a university student, almost done and thinking about going into Grad School. I write in a world that I conceived back in the 9th Grade, and have been working on it and the characters, which I have fallen in love with. Currently I'm working on short stories to improve my craft and my understanding of my characters before I work on my "big story".
I plan to use this site as a means to get a feel for what other people think of my stories and my writing style at a glance.
Specifically I find myself writing about misunderstanding. Many of my characters are dark, but they mean good.
Recently I've been taken with a couple of characters who are in a "good" relationship, as I see many stories where there are characters in "bad" relationships, or where one of them dies... and don't even get me started on romance-esque relationships obsessed about the fantasy. I enjoy working with "real" love and not that lust/bad passion crap.
My world is a mix of fantasy and modernity. I like the real world and its technology, its issues, but I also like a fantastical setting, so I decided to mix the two. I suppose I went at it with a very young mind when I decided to go that route. "This is what I wish the world was like," and that concept has given my mind a happy home.
I enjoy music that makes me think of adventure. Nightwish has been a favorite of mine, mainly I enjoy ambient music (no lyrics).
