@Kia_pink Ooo good question! I have to say no, not particularly, at least not intentionally! :) I've seen the movies though! And I remember them being pretty good. Actually, when I first started Hummingbird I only had a Tomarry pirate au in mind, so I took some inspiration from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, but then the direction of the story shifted so other than that I can't think of anything else in particular :) Though that makes sense that you'd make that connection, with all the alt-world and high-fantasy elements! :D
