Hello to my 6 followers and anyone else who sees this! Thank you to everyone who’s read the first few chapters of Of Light So Dark and Dear! It truly means the world to me that there are other people in the world who have read parts of Lena’s journey and have enjoyed it. Going forward my goal is to post about 2 chapters a week, even if only one person reads them. I’m very excited for what’s to come, and I hope you all will follow along with me!

How do you know so many details about history to be able to write such details?

Hi! Thank you so much for reading my story! I do a LOT of research and I still get things wrong. I also know a lot about this because it is my history. My dad’s family lived in Augsburg for centuries and my mom’s ancestors were prominent Jewish figures in Europe. At one point I had ancestors fighting on different sides of the Austro-Prussian war! I’ve learned a lot from stories passed down through generations and it is important to me that I expand my knowledge of the Victorian era to beyond just what was happening in England.
