So, I have some big news that I would like to share with you. I have secured a publishing contract with Atmosphere Press for my book The Road to Nowhere. I'm deeply thankful to all those who have supported me and my writing. I plan to keep you all updated as it gets closer to the time to print.
This has been a little overwhelming at times but for all the ups and downs it has been a good experience overall. The fact a publisher took the time to read and accept my first attempt at writing a book was an awestruck moment for me.
Though there are numerous people who have me refine my book; I would like to honor a few here in this announcement.
@JamFestBC - My first book club. You took a chance on a newbie and for that I am grateful. Things went sideways for me and I had to leave but there are no hard feelings on my end. You still are a great group with amazing people. Plus you all gave me my first award for my book !!!
@Red_Leasia I thank you for your guidance and advice even after I left JamFestBC. Your willingness to keep reading my book meant a lot to me. I am eternally grateful for your kindness.
@PrettyInPunkBC My current BC. I thank you for allowing me in and giving me a place to continue to grow not only my book but my writing ability. Great people and a place where I have grown to make a few friends.
To that point I would like to shout out @DachetGrival.
You, my friend, above all others know my intent for The Road to Nowhere. Your input has been invaluable to me. Your encouragement and advice have helped me a great deal to keep going with the book. So, you among my personal family and close friends should expect and personal signed copy when I get it printed.
Though the next major obstacle will be funding the book I hope to see this to the end. With all of your continued help and encouragement I move forward with a new sense of purpose.
